The demand for recreation in the Krasnodar Territory in mid-August decreased by 5-20% depending on the city compared to demand in late July and early August, follows from the study of travel and travel service Tutu.ru. The biggest drop in demand for air tickets to Anapa, the reason for this could be the weather conditions in the region.

The demand for tickets for flights to Anapa fell by 20%, to Gelendzhik – by 12.5%, to Sochi and Krasnodar – by 3-5%. “Fluctuations in demand within 3-5% are the norm. We can say that the demand for tickets to Sochi and Krasnodar remained at the same level. But the decrease in demand for tickets to Gelendzhik and Anapa can be associated with natural disasters, “- said the head of the press service of the service Natalya Anisimova TASS.

The average cost of a ticket to Anapa departing from August 9 to 15 was 5.68 thousand rubles, which is 3% less than a week earlier. Also, the average cost of an air ticket to Krasnodar decreased by 3%, to 6.26 thousand rubles. The cost of an air ticket to Gelendzhik decreased by 14%, to 5.7 thousand rubles, in Sochi – by 5%, to 5.6 thousand rubles.

On August 12, the authorities of the Krasnodar Territory announced the approach of a powerful mesocyclone “Zamera”. The population was asked to collect valuables and documents in case of evacuation. In several cities on the coast, including Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik and Anapa, an emergency regime was introduced in advance.
