Member of the temporary administrative body of Al-Zawraa Club, Laith Hussein, praised the victory achieved by Al-Nawras over Al-Talaba Club at the start of the seventh round of the Iraq Stars League, considering that these three points are equivalent to six points in terms of their importance in strengthening Al-Zawraa’s position in the league standings.
Hussein told the (INA), today, Thursday: “The players gave an outstanding performance and were keen to achieve victory with a high fighting spirit.”
Hussein added, “The interim administrative body is making unremitting efforts to improve the club’s conditions, and seeks to overcome the financial obstacles that the players face,” pointing out that “there is continuous coordination with the technical staff to strengthen some positions that lack qualified players, with the aim of strengthening the team’s strength.”
Hussein stressed that “the interim administration needs more time to restore the team to its usual level and develop it to compete for titles, stressing that achieving these goals requires effort and patience from everyone.”
