Singapore Airlines (SIA) has apologized for the confusion over the details of the Singapore-Malaysia special travel arrangement.
Travelers under the special travel arrangement do not need to be isolated in Malaysia.

However, details of the isolation and testing there seem to have been passed on to customers.
It is said that an email was sent to those leaving for Malaysia on the 29th of this month.
The e-mail also mentioned a change in travel advice.
The SIA said the email was sent automatically and did not apply to travelers under the special travel arrangement.
The company also said it would make changes to the travel advisory statement to indicate that.
