LIBREVILLE, October 24, 2025 (AGP) – In order to optimize and enable local learning, the Digital University of Gabon (UNG), has just acquired five (5) open connected spaces (ENOs) in several higher education establishments, universities, grandes écoles and institutes, it has been noted.
The Omar Bongo University (UOB), the University of Health Sciences (USS), the National Institute of Management Sciences (INSG), the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) and the École Normale Supérieure d’enseignement technical (ENSET), are the main establishments in which the digital university has recently installed its connected spaces.
« Today, with digital technology, we can do everything. We have students registered at the digital university who are on the other side of the world, in France, Gabon, Tchibanga or elsewhere. These students take courses like students at different universities, except they take them digitally », indicated Professor Thierry Blanchard Ekogo, head of the Technical Engineering Sciences pole at UNG.
While waiting for the future large university which will be based in the Middle Ogooué province (central Gabon), these connected, open spaces have been designed so that learners can follow the lessons in complete peace and quiet, without interruption. They are therefore equipped with a high-speed Internet connection, computers, cameras and video projectors.
