Independiente Medellín defeated Deportivo Cali in the most attractive duel of the day this Monday at the Atanasio Girardot stadium. El Poderoso added three again in a duel in which the visitor was better in certain passages of the game. The only goal of the game was from Brayan León.
Chaux served quickly, the ball passed to Vásquez and there Brayan León took a good shot to beat Joaquín Papaleo who could not do much to avoid the goal.
Ten minutes later, Papaleo avoided the home team’s second with a left-footed shot from Leyser Chaverra that forced the goalkeeper to send the ball to the side. At 31′, Kelvin Osorio would have another chance for Cali with a great left-footed shot from mid-range, but Chaux responded well to avoid the goal.
