From January 10 to 23, 2024, the 16th edition of Les Incontournables, organized by UGC in partnership with Le Figaro, Le Figaro Magazine and Madame Figaro, offers to (re)discover in 31 UGC cinemas throughout France 25 of the best films of 2023, at the price 5 euros per place.

On the program, auteur blockbusters such asOppenheimer de Christopher Nolan, Babylon by Damien Chazelle and Barbie by Greta Gerwig, the president of the jury of the next Cannes Film Festival. The latest masterpieces of the great masters: Killers of the Flower Moon by Martin Scorsese, The Fabelmans Steven Spielberg, Pick up by Marco Bellocchio, Dead leaves d’Aki Kaurismaki, Dry Herbs by Nuri Bilge Ceylan. A great film that is too little seen: Tar , by Todd Field with a masterful Cate Blanchett.
And a number of films which illustrate the vitality and diversity of French cinema. My crime by François Ozon, Love and Forests , by Valérie Donzelli, Green algae by Pierre Jolivet or Yannick by Quentin Dupieux are on the program. Parisians will have the chance to attend a session in the presence of certain filmmakers. Justine Triet accompanies Anatomy of a fall, Palme d’Or just won at the Golden Globes.
