On Tuesday, the head of the General Authority for Exhibitions, Issam Al-Aoul, discussed Libya’s participation in the “Expo Japan 2025” exhibition, during his meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Japan to Libya, Shimura Izuru, in the presence of a number of directors of departments and the advisory committee of the General Authority for Exhibitions.
During the meeting, “the space allocated for the Libyan pavilion was discussed, in addition to the National Day for Libya within the exhibition activities, as the participation of the State of Libya is a step to strengthen its position on the international arena,” according to what the Ministry of Economy and Trade said on Facebook.
The ministry continued, “The meeting also presented investment opportunities in Libya to attract foreign investments, especially in promising sectors such as energy, tourism, industry, and technology, which opens the door for international partnerships to enter the Libyan market.”
They also discussed the participation of the Republic of Japan in the Tripoli International Fair 2025, and the importance of this presence in enhancing economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
This meeting reflects the efforts of the Ministry of Economy and Trade to diversify sources of income, strengthen bilateral relations, and participate in international events to serve the common interests of the two countries.
