Discussing procedures for integrating inmates from the Addictions Treatment Center in Misrata into the labor market

On Sunday, a delegation from the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation in the National Unity Government discussed mechanisms for preparing a training program for inmates of the National Center for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Addicts in Misrata, with the aim of rehabilitating them and integrating them into the labor market.

This came during a visit by the Director of the Training Centers Affairs Department at the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation to the National Center for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Addicts, accompanied by the Director of the Misrata Center for Small and Medium Enterprises, the Training Department, the Director of the Quality Follow-up and Assurance Office, and the Director of the Occupational Health and Safety Office at the Tamina Center.

During the visit, he “met with a number of the center’s officials and reviewed its facilities to identify areas that could be supported in accordance with the strategy of the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation in a way that suits the needs of the labor market,” according to the ministry’s statement on its page on the social networking site Facebook.

“The delegation also received the Assistant Director and a number of department directors at the center, and during the visit, a field tour took place inside the center’s facilities to identify areas that can be supported in accordance with the strategy of the Ministry of Labor and Rehabilitation, in a way that suits the needs of the labor market.”
