FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt and the support association ” Fußballherz FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt ” were also unable to reach an agreement out of court in the last naming rights dispute. Now the football club wants to ban the support association with an injunction.

Last chance for an out-of-court settlement

The conciliation hearing on Friday before the Erfurt regional court was the last opportunity to reach an out-of-court settlement. The judge tried to get both sides to come closer. However, this was unsuccessful.

RWE board member Rolf Hildebrandt said he was satisfied with the negotiation. Accordingly, the presiding judge indicated that the Football club rightly asserted the injunctive relief said Hildebrandt.

60,000 euros in donations

Since its founding in February 2020, the support association has collected a total of around 60,000 euros, primarily through donations, according to RWE estimates. The support association has confirmed 30,000 euros of this to the football club. Rot-Weiß Erfurt has so far received around 2,500 euros of the donations and has been supported with bus rides and training equipment.
