Meanwhile, Sasikala’s brother Divakaran started the party in the name of Anna Dravidar Kazhagam in 2018. Sasikala has sent a legal notice not to use her name and image in the Divakaran party. Following this, Divakaran announced during a press conference that ‘Sasikala is no longer my sister’.
In this case, now Divakaran will merge his Anna Dravidar Kazhagam with AIADMK. In this regard, Sasikala has announced that the merger ceremony of Anna Dravidar Kazhagam with the parent organization All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam will be held on 12.07.2022 at 11 am at the Tamil Rasi Wedding Hall in Thanjavur.
