A tragic traffic accident near the village of Dralfa, Bulgaria, has resulted in the deaths of three individuals and caused important traffic disruptions. The incident, reported around 3:36 p.m. local time today, involved a car and a truck colliding on the road between Dralfa and Golyamo Novo.

According to a spokesperson for the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Targovishte, ani Krasteva, the three fatalities were occupants of the car involved in the collision. “Three people who were traveling in the car died on the spot,” Krasteva told the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA). Initial reports indicate the vehicles were traveling in opposite directions at the time of the impact. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.

Conversely, those traveling from Targovishte to Popovo should reroute via Liljak, Aleksandrovo, and Gorna kabda. Drivers are urged to exercise caution and adhere to posted speed limits on detour routes.
A team from the “Road Police” and the Regional Administration in Targovishte are on-site to regulate traffic and ensure the safety of drivers navigating the detour routes.
