Woman in Custody Assaults Police Officer During Interrogation
In a shocking incident that took place at the police station in Växjö, a 34-year-old woman in custody violently assaulted a police officer during an interrogation. The incident happened in October last year, as reported by Smålandsposten.
According to sources, the woman, who was under the influence of drugs, fell asleep multiple times during the questioning. However, she suddenly regained energy and launched herself at the police officer, causing him to fall backward and hit his head on the wall. The sudden and unexpected attack left the officer in a state of shock.
In the midst of the chaos, another officer rushed in to intervene and protect his colleague. However, as he tried to restrain the woman, she attempted to scalp him. In the process of defending himself, the officer struck her with his elbow, causing her to lose consciousness temporarily. Following this, she was immediately taken to a drunk cell for further evaluation.
The consequences of the woman’s actions have now caught up with her, as she has been sentenced to three months in prison for violence against an official, attempted violence against an official, violation of the Knife Act, and minor drug offenses. Additionally, she has been ordered to pay damages worth SEK 8,000 to the police officer she attacked.
