The former DSDS participant reveals on “Celebrity Big Brother” that he depends on the show. As a singer, Daniel Lopes cannot support his family.

To this day, Daniel Lopes is sticking to his music career, even though the income is barely enough for him and his family, as he revealed on TV. That’s why the 47-year-old is currently taking part in the reality show “Celebrity Big Brother”. “The prize money would be important to me. If you’re not successful at the moment, it’s hard to admit that,” he reports tearfully on the show and admits: “I don’t earn that much and I don’t have an appearance every month.”

The existential fears weigh heavily on him. “I want to be strong again, and that’s sometimes tiring. Sometimes I just want to rest a bit, but I always have to be there for my family, and that’s not always easy,” says Daniel Lopes. On the other hand, it is hard for him to be separated from his loved ones. “I’ve never been away from home for so long,” said the singer, crying. “My wife and my son, they need me.”

Giving up is therefore out of the question for him, because “of course I want to win it for you,” explains Daniel Lopes. The winner of the relay will receive prize money of 100,000 euros. This could provide the family with financial security. “I can do it,” the 47-year-old encourages himself to persevere.

In 2016, Daniel Lopes married fitness trainer Magna Cavalcante in Brazil. On September 20, 2020, the two became parents to a son. They also have two children from previous relationships.
