Exciting news from the British inventor company Dyson: The company will be launching its first headphones this year. The Dyson Zone not only plays music, it also provides good air.
HiFi sound with ANC
Dyson promises that the new over-ear headphones will deliver hi-fi sound – at the same time, active noise cancellation (ANC) should keep environmental noise away from the wearer. The electronics can be controlled in three steps: an isolation mode provides heavenly peace, the transparency mode lets the wearer hear everything in the environment. In between there is a conversation mode, which mainly makes the spoken word audible, but still hides the rest of the environment.
But – the eye-catching bracket in front of the face gives an idea – the Dyson Zone doesn’t just play music. It also purifies the air. Carbon filters enriched with potassium and electrostatic filters fish 99 percent of all dust particles, pollen and bacteria out of the air, thus ensuring clean breathing air for the wearer.
Even with FFP2 standard
The equipment also comes with a full-face protection for the breathing visor and a mask that ensures that the zone meets the FFP2 standard. If you only want to listen to music with the device, you can also completely remove the breathing element.
The Dyson Zone is scheduled to go on sale in the fall. Dyson has not yet revealed what the device will cost.
