Paris Games Week returns to the capital for its 13th edition. The event long awaited by video game enthusiasts opens its doors to the public for five days, from Wednesday 23 October to Sunday 27 October, at the Porte de Versailles exhibition center (15th century). The show entirely dedicated to the world of gaming will be an opportunity for visitors to discover the new products for this end of the year but also for those coming in 2025.
A sector in turmoil linked to an unprecedented socioeconomic crisis, the week of the Paris Games, after two years of relaunch in 2022 and 2023, intends to restart this year and hopes to reach a level close to that of 2019, which brought together 317,000 visitors and 194 exhibitors. Visitors will be able to explore almost 80,000 m² of stands and activities.
Cosplay village, areas dedicated to children, manga district
Among these, the giants of the sector such as Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo and also Ubisoft will obviously be present to present the news long awaited by players. Nintendo will defend Super Mario Party Jamboree and the latest The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. PlayStation will offer an immersive experience with AstroBot and as with Xbox, players will be able to exclusively discover the Indiana Jones and the Ancient Circle game.
The publishers’ stands will also offer an overview of some games planned for 2025, Double Dragon Revive or the third part of Little Nightmares. Also noteworthy is the exceptional arrival of Japanese Ryozo Tsujimoto, producer of the hugely popular Monster Hunter video game series.
But that’s not all. To attract an increasingly larger audience, the organizers are aiming for a show divided into multiple areas that go beyond the simple world of video games. Visitors will be able to go to the e-sports village, the manga district, the cosplay village. The little ones will once again have their own junior Paris Games Week with a dozen terminals dedicated to children and another four for teenagers.
The biggest stars of French streaming
Paris Games Week is also an opportunity to meet your favorite content creators in real life. For streaming enthusiasts, there will be several stars of the discipline in France who will perform on ten different stages. The new edition will open with the popular journalist and streamer Samuel Étienne.
The twitcher Domingo, followed by more than 1.8 million subscribers on the platform, will host the final of the Macif transgenerational competition on Saturday 26 October, together with Jiraiya. Dina, Just Dance’s first Olympic champion, will offer sessions at the Ubisoft booth. The now famous Dobby, Kaatsup, Lebouseuh, LittleBigWhale, Locklear, Mickalow and Valouzz will also be present.
As for e-sports, at the center of this new edition, several highlights are expected. The main stage will host the finals of the international Trackmania World Cup and Coupe des Étoiles de League of Legends.
