Breaking the network: Uri Zohar may have passed away a few years ago, but his enormous legacy still accompanies the world of Israeli culture. One of Zohar’s famous sketches is the sketch “Marriage as a Closed Institution” written by Yossi Banai and starring Zohar veterans of Dayan. Today (Tuesday) the pair of stars Eden Harel and Oded Menashe who have repented brought up their version of that skit and the result? bursting with laughter.

Watch the recreation of the nostalgic skit:

“Tribute to the one and only”

Eden Harel and her husband Oded Menashe uploaded today (Tuesday) to the star’s Instagram page a heartbreaking tribute to that mythological skit as they imitate Zohar and Dayan. They start the skit when Menasha carries Harel on his back and she tells him: “No, no Zerubbabel, don’t take me down again, according to custom you have to carry me to the bedroom.”

The ripping couple continues in perfect imitation as they only make the lip movements and the voices that are heard are the voices from the original skit. Together with the video they uploaded, Harel wrote: “A tribute to the one and only Rabbi Uri Zohar zt’al and to Taiki Dayan that you will live a long life…our honor.”
