Eduardo del Llano invites his “haters” to the presentation of his short film in Paris

Cuban writer and film director Eduardo del Llano informed his followers that he is in Paris, France, to present his short film “Domino.”

Del Llano encouraged his followers to attend the meeting through his Facebook profile, calling their attention with a phrase ‘Cuban style’.

“The tail of the chicken,” the artist wrote, and then went on to say that he was in Paris “invited to present tonight my short film ‘Domino’ and then ‘The Death of a Titon Bureaucrat’.”

Regarding this presentation, he added that “it is a great honor to share the bill with who continues to be the greatest of Cuban filmmakers.”

The exhibition will take place at the Ecoles Cinéma Club, in the French capital, for which the screenwriter also invited “even” the haters, although he clarified, “if they have the money to pay the ticket.”

A few days ago, Del Llano published on the social network an image of his stay in Madrid, from where he allegedly traveled to France.

As he informed his followers before embarking on that journey, he met “his partner” the troubadour Ray Fernández at the airport.

“Fortuitous meeting at the airport, right now, with my partners Ray Fernández and Christopher Simpson…” he wrote on his Facebook profile, which some follower (or hater) of the artist has described as “a CDR meeting.”

“Domino”, released in 2018, was the 14th installment of the short series ‘Los Cuentos de Nicanor’. In audiovisual, it features performances by Luis Alberto García and Néstor Jiménez, who were joined by Omar Franco, Lola Amores and Miguel Moreno.

The short, completely written and directed by Del Llano, has as its theme the interest of an Arab billionaire in buying the island of Cuba.

Among the characters in the story, more than one “theory” is unleashed about how money can and should be distributed, where once again Luis Alberto García shines with his Nicanor. The material takes place in a lot where four men play dominoes, and suddenly they are overwhelmed by “the news.”
