Bangalore: Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Eeswarappa has resigned from his ministry post in Karnataka. Santosh K. Patil hails from Indalka in Belgaum district of Karnataka. The contractor had publicly accused the state Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Minister Eeswarappa of asking for a commission of 40 per cent of the contract amount for the development work.
