Regarding the matter, the Chief Election Commissioner of Artists Association Khorshed Alam Khosru said, we have received a letter to postpone the election. A letter has also arrived to bring forward the election again. They presented their arguments and applied to the Election Commission. On the other hand, an application has also been made seeking postponement of direct elections. The artist has applied to the commission along with the papers of the ongoing case of the association. We have taken a lawyer after the election commission meeting. I will take his advice. It depends on the court.
Although the election was scheduled to be held on April 19, Election Commission Chairman Khorshed Alam Khosru recently announced that it was changed on April 27. Misha Saudagar, the former president of the last two terms, was surprised by the announcement of this new date. The actor has written a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner stating that he will have to face many problems including financial loss as a result of the new date.
