He Electoral Court of the Judicial Branch of the Federation (TEPJF) projects dismiss the objections against the victory of Pablo Lemus and ratify it as governor of Jalisco.
This is established in the draft resolution of the electoral court that was made public and in which it is proposed confirm the victory of the Citizen Movement candidate in the elections 2024.
In this regard, the project led by Judge Felipe Fuentes Barrera indicates that the arguments that Morena presented seeking to annul the dispute, are insufficient and inoperative.
Consequently, it is proposed that victory must be ratified what he got Pablo Lemus as governor of Jalisco during the elections that were held on June 2.
It should be noted that the project will have to be voted on by the magistrates of the Upper Room of the electoral court, during the next ordinary session to be carried out.
Electoral court plans to ratify victory of Pablo Lemus as governor of Jalisco
The magistrate of electoral courtFelipe Fuentes Barrera, made public his draft resolution on the challenges presented against the Pablo Lemus victory in the 2024 elections.
In the project, the magistrate proposes that the challenges that Morena filed seeking to annul the 2024 elections in which they voted for the governor of Jalisco.
That is to say, the draft resolution that the Superior Chamber of the Electoral Court must vote on in its next ordinary session outlines that confirm victory by Pablo Lemus.
This is due to the fact that in the conclusions of the project it is noted that the arguments that Morena presented in search of annulling the 2024 elections, are insufficient, unfounded and inoperative.
In that sense, it is proposed that allegations are dismissed on alleged “serious” and “widespread irregularities” that Morena asserted, occurred throughout the electoral contest.
By rejecting that such acts have been registered, the project establishes that there is no evidence that in the elections “some of the principles have been disrupteds that govern the electoral processes.”
