Electricity: why the Spanish supplier Iberdrola is getting rid of thousands of customers in France

The start of the school year is barely looming before some energy suppliers are already making headlines, in a market still as shaken by soaring prices. The Spaniard Iberdrola has just sent a letter to 10,000 of its French customers (i.e. 2% of its portfolio) to encourage them to “find elsewhere” as soon as their current contract ends, even threatening them with a cut they do not quickly find a new supplier.
