Elements of the Guardia Nacional (GN) and of Army They were reportedly injured after the explosion of an artifact in Cotija, Michoacán.
According to the media, the events occurred at noon this Monday in the community of Gallineroswhere security personnel carried out a security tour.
So far, the official information we have is that 2 elements of the GN were injured and required air transportation.

The above, according to the Ministry of Health of Michoacán, which reported on its X account (@SSalud_Mich) that:
“Through the CRUM We coordinate the air transfer of two elements of the National Guardfrom Cotija to the ISSSTE hospital in Morelia and the Apatzingán Military Hospital, to receive specialized medical care.”
Until now, the media indicate that they would have been 5 uniformed officers injured but no authority, neither local nor federal, has officially commented on the matter.
