Tokyo and Miami (ots/PRNewswire) Enfinity Global Inc., a leading renewable energy company, has secured $195 million (29.2 billion yen) in long-term financing for a 70 MW solar power plant in Japan. Nomura Securities International Inc., a global financial institution, acted as lead arranger/sole underwriter and Aozora Bank, a leading Japanese commercial bank, acted as lead arranger/agent.

The recently completed solar power plant in Aomori Prefecture in northern Japan is expected to produce more than 75 GWh of clean energy each year, enough to meet 11% of the energy needs of the city of Aomori, or about 15,600 households , and 35,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year. to balance. The Aomori solar power plant is a successful example of the effective use of double-sided solar panels in one of the snowiest cities in the world.

This newly commissioned solar power plant is part of Enfinity Global’s 250 MW photovoltaic portfolio in Japan, where the company is an industry leader.
