The Health Insurance Council in the Kingdom stated that citizens have the right to obtain the necessary medical treatment in emergency cases without the need to go to insurance companies and obtain approval.
The Council affirmed that in the event of a health emergency, the patient has the right to obtain treatment outside the networks that provide health care services, while being exempted from all costs related to the health services provided, and the service provider must send a notification to the insurance company within only one day of receiving the case.

In the event that the company is not notified within the specified time, the provider will be obligated to bear the costs of the therapeutic services provided to the patient for the period of delay, and his right to obtain compensation will be forfeited. All health service providers must be reminded of the necessity of adhering to the system and the specified dates.
