The traditional competition pays homage to professor Valdir Souza in its 30th edition at Rádio Clube

The 6th round of the Copa Entardecer of amateur football was the date that had the most goals so far in this 30th edition. The competition is hosted at Rádio Clube de Campo Grande, located on Avenida Toros Puxian, in the Vila Morumbi neighborhood. There were 32 goals scored in five matches. The previous record was 30 goals in the 3rd round.
Next week, due to the Proclamation of the Republic holiday, on November 15th, the competition will not have a round. The games will return on the 22nd with the 7th round. From then on, only the 8th round and the grand final on December 6th will remain.

The competition has two categories: free/master and super master. The first features players aged 16 to 54. The second is for members aged 55 and over. The rules are based on the official football rules with changes in time, replacements and disciplinary measures. The honoree of this 30th edition is professor Valdir Souza.
Format and calendar – The dispute will take place over eight Wednesdays until December 6th, when the grand final takes place. Each player who plays will have an individual score, totaling four points for a win, three for a draw and two for a defeat. Anyone who is only present on the day will have a point on the table.
On the day of the games, there will be a draw to form the teams (blue and white). Throughout the seven qualifying rounds, players earn points based on their collective result. On December 6th, the final will have the 22 best divided between two teams to define the champion. This happens in both categories. If there is a tie in scores between athletes, the tiebreaker criteria take into account the number of cards and age. The athlete who is older has an advantage.
