Es-Semara – The operation to collect data from households as part of the 7th General Population and Housing Census (RGPH) was launched on Sunday in “good conditions” at the level of the province of ‘Es-Semara.
“Meaningful human and logistical resources have been mobilized to guarantee the smooth running of the census in the province,” assured in a statement to the press, the provincial supervisor of the RGPH operation, El Garhi Sidati, specifying that some 83 investigators , 25 controllers and 3 supervisors are involved in this major operation. Mr. Sidati also indicated that the census operation which will continue until September 30 in the province of Es-semara, includes 21 control zones and 68 census zones, in addition to the participation of 111 controllers and investigators. Likewise, he recalled that the distance or face-to-face training sessions which benefited the participants in the census, made it possible to guarantee a good start to this national deadline, noting that the transition to the collection of data from households was preceded by a terrain reconnaissance operation, during which controllers and investigators became aware of the boundaries of their census zones.
