Evans Hankey, who designed the last three iPhones, is leaving Apple

Evans Hankey, Apple’s vice president of industrial design, who was appointed to the post in 2019, is leaving the company. Under the leadership of Ms. Hankey, two generations of AirPods and Apple Watch were created, as well as iPhone 12, 13, 14. She replaced design director Jonathan Ive.

Evans Hankey will remain at Apple for six months, the company has not yet named a replacement for the vice president. “Evans plans to stay while we work through the transition, and we would like to thank her for her leadership and contributions,” an Apple spokesperson said (quoted by Bloomberg).
