According to data released by the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) on the 20th, this year’s postseason admission revenue is 10,405,035,000 won. This is the highest amount ever, surpassing the previous record of 10,392,226,000 won in 2012.

According to KBO regulations, postseason admission revenue, excluding all operating costs, is distributed to the top five teams participating in fall baseball.
20% will be distributed first to the regular season winning team, KIA Tigers, and the KS winning team will take 50% of the remaining amount.
24% will be given to the runner-up team and 14% will be given to the club eliminated from the PO. The team that lost in the semi-PO will receive 9% back, and the team that was eliminated in the wild card game will receive 3% back.
Since a new postseason entry profit record has already been set, the dividends the club receives are expected to be significant. The team with the highest postseason revenue of all time was the Samsung Lions in 2012, who won the combined championship and earned a total of 3,736,559,658 won.
