The court ordered a psychological-psychiatric examination to see if he was in a state of affect
Orlin Vladimirov, who is on trial for the murder of his wife Evgenia, launched a new version before the Sofia Court of Appeal. In his explanations, which were more like a plea, he explained that when he and his wife Evgenia had an argument on October 13, 2021, she asked him “are you sure the child is yours”. According to him, this question made him emotional, so his defense asked for a psychological-psychiatric examination to be made, which would tell what state he was in.
Orlin made many requests to the court, including that recordings be seized from Targovska Street in Pernik, where he met on the day of October 13, 2021, with his father, and that information from his personal laptop be downloaded to a disk. but the court rejected them.
During his explanations, he pointed out that in the same year of the murder, they were at weddings, traveled abroad and at sea. He pointed out that the money for the apartment they were supposed to buy – 90,000 thousand BGN – was his, not his father’s.
Several times it was pointed out to him that he was speaking pleas and not giving explanations, he refused to answer questions of the confidants of Evgenia’s family, as well as the prosecutor, but only his lawyers.
The case continues on November 12.
