– I have been extremely nervous and excited about the weather, says Christian Ziesler just minutes before the opening.
RA Stavanger has previously reported on Christian Ziesler, who was to open the new restaurant at Amfi Madla, and now it is open.
Nearly 300 Counted
The special thing about the opening day was that the first 500 would receive free pizza and soda. And hundreds of people had caught wind of that and gladly lined up to wait.
– Earlier, we counted nearly 300 people in line, so we are very pleased with that, says ziesler.
After previous openings, the pizza chain has found that it typically takes about two and a half hours to serve all the pizzas to the first 500. So those who didn’t wait long before the opening and ended up further back in line will also have to endure a bit more waiting.
for the first 500, there were three different types of pizza they could choose from. Truffle, Pepperoni, and Spicy Chicken.

Free pizza was enough motivation for Philip, Herman, and Lucas to line up almost an hour before opening.
– We have been here since ten past one, says Herman.
And then the question arises about what they have been doing while waiting in line. Fortunately, the rain had not started yet, so most managed to avoid getting wet and cold.
– We have been standing here talking a bit about life,says Jonas Dirdal.
– We are 100 percent ready for pizza, it’s great, says Anders Roa.
Almost at the back of the line, Ingrid and Thea had found a spot. they decided earlier this morning that they would come to the opening and went together to queue up.
– It has been a bit boring standing here, but good, we are not cold, says Ingrid.
