The bill “relating to the sharing of value within the company” must be presented to the Council of Ministers this Wednesday. The government, which is betting on this text in particular to make people forget the pension crisis, has endeavored to transcribe as faithfully as possible the agreement signed in February by a majority of unions (only the CGT did not initial it) and employers. The Minister of Labor, Olivier Dussopt, hammered it during a press briefing on Tuesday, the executive wants “the whole agreement and nothing but the agreement”.
The text includes 15 articles, which will be examined in public session in Parliament the week of June 26. It aims in particular to increase the number of beneficiaries of tools such as participation, profit-sharing or the value-sharing bonus, which are not very widespread in SMEs.
