The dynamics of industrial production in Russia in January 2022 for the first time in 12 months showed double-digit growth rates – 10.2% compared to January 2021, follows from a review by the Institute for Natural Monopoly Problems (IPEM), which Vedomosti has.
Demand for industrial products in the first month of the year also increased by 5.8%, according to IPEM data. Such growth rates were recorded earlier during periods of economic recovery, demand showed a positive result in all sectors, follows from the review. IPEM calculations are based on indirect integral indicators – electricity consumption and loading on the railway network.
