Experts have identified several leaks in the Russian ISS module

Experts from Russia and NASA have identified several possible air leaks in the Russian Zvezda module on the ISS, said David West, a spokesman for NASA’s Aerospace Safety Advisory Board.

“Three of these places were sealed with linings or sealant. But so far this has not completely reduced the rate of leakage, ”he said.

The American specialist explained that the air leak from the intermediate chamber of the Zvezda module now does not pose any risks to the safety of the ISS crew.

Earlier, Roskosmos formed a commission to combat air leaks. A joint working group was also created between NASA and Russian partners to potentially avoid negative consequences.
