Extensive preparations for the Madinah Ramadan Prayer Conference

Madinah chairman Sayyid Ibrahim al – Khalil al – Bukhari said in a news conference that this year’s plans are in place to help believers reap the blessings of Ramadan, despite the crisis caused by Kovid’s recession, inflation and poverty caused by the Russia-Ukraine war.

As part of its efforts to recapture the spiritual and compassionate spirit that was lost due to Kovid, there have been month-long spiritual forums, knowledge gatherings, relief and study camps, iftar gatherings, online sessions, driving awareness programs, memorial tours, and ciarats. The meetings will be attended by ministers and religious and cultural dignitaries.

Madinah Salat Nagar is hosting the largest prayer meeting in the country on the night of the 27th of Ramadan, which is expected to mark the holy month of Lailatul Qadr. It is also the second largest gathering place of worship after Makkah and Madinah. Salat Nagar will flood millions of believers who have been in fear of Kovid for the last two years with one mind and one prayer.

Millions of people will take a pledge at the conference against terrorism and drug abuse. Under the leadership of Madin Academy, continuous efforts and vigilance are being made to ensure community harmony and to keep the community in tune with the national mainstream. The event will also raise awareness about the dangers of separatist and destructive activities in different parts of the world. Madin Chairman and General Secretary of the Kerala Muslim Jamaat Syed Ibrahimul Khalil Al Bukhari will administer the oath of office. All India Sunni Jamiat Ulema General Secretary Kanthapuram AP Aboobacker Musliar will inaugurate the program. Samastha President E. Sulaiman Musliar will preside over the function.

A community iftar will be organized in Salat Nagar for those attending the prayer meeting. It will be the largest gathering place in the country for fasting. Iftar, which conveys the message of Islamic contribution, is set up in full compliance with the Green Code. The main ceremonies will start with the Iftar gathering on the 27th night of Ramadan. The main items of this holy gathering are Taraweeh prayer, Tasbeeh prayer, Praise of the Prophets, Prayer for forgiveness, Remembrance of saints and nobles and Closing prayer. It is also the annual venue for the Salat Prayer Meeting held every month at the Madinah Campus.

From Ramadan 1, thousands of travelers, hospital patients and inmates will be treated to an extensive fast in Salat Nagar. The Ramadan campaign will start on the 28th of this month. On the 30th, a scholarly conference will be held to discuss current issues. Samastha Secretary Ponmala Abdul Qadir Musliar will inaugurate the function. Samastha Kendra Mushavara member Cherushola Abdul Jalil Saqafi will present the topic. Syed Ali Bafaki, Vice President, Samastha, will inaugurate the ‘Marhaban Ramadan’ program on the 31st at 6 pm.

Syed Ali Bafaki Thangal has been appointed as the Chairman, Chaliyam AP Abdul Kareem Haji as the General Convener and Eethappazham Bawa Haji as the Finance Secretary.

Under the auspices of the Madinah Academy, more than a quarter of a million students are enrolled in 46 different institutions, including Spanish, German, French, Foreign Language Centers, Civil Service Academy, PSC Coaching Centers, and special schools. It has minority status with the National Commission for Minority Education and collaborates with reputed universities and academic institutions in countries such as Australia, the UK, Malaysia, Spain and the US.
