Director Faasil said that he cast Fahad in his film not only because he is his son. Fazil said that he acted after seeing Fahad’s talent. Fazil added that he had interviewed Fahadh and sent the video to Mohanlal and Mammootty. He was speaking in an interview given to Malayalam Manorama.
