Famous tennis player Roger Federer has donated $ 5 million to help Ukrainian children affected by the Russian war continue their education.
Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer runs a charity called the Roger Federer Foundation for Social Assistance, including Children’s Education. Through this charity he has been making various contributions to the education of children in countries below the poverty line. In this situation, Roger Federer has extended his help to prevent the education of children in Ukraine from being affected by the ongoing war.
He said in a post on Twitter that he and his family were shocked to see the photos coming out of Ukraine. He also stressed the need for peace in Ukraine. He has announced that he will provide $ 5 lakh (approximately Rs. 3.79 crore in Indian currency) through his charity to help Ukrainian children continue their education.
