The president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, reported that the Attorney General’s Office is investigating the death of a nurse and an element of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena), which occurred in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas.
“There are two cases, both occurred in Nuevo Laredo, but they are two different episodes. An episode, where an Army member died, and a civilian, a nurse, also died. It has to do with criminals who shot at an Army truck, in both cases investigations are being carried out by the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic. ”he explained.

During her morning conference at the National Palace, the president commented that in the other case, an element of the National Guard was attacked, for which this security body responded, and as a consequence, two civilians and a girl died.
“In both cases, from the first moment I was informed by the general secretary, and on his behalf, all the evidence that was required, and provisions that were required, were immediately presented,” he commented.
Meanwhile, the president of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum, indicated that Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, is the entity in the country where the Armed Forces, both the Army and the National Guard, suffer attacks by criminal groups.
