BOLZANO. A path divided into 12 stages themed that can also be explored individually which will be developed for 30 km along the mountain slopes and urban areas of Bolzano: the municipal council has approved the feasibility study of the design alternatives for the creation of a circular walk around the city, the so-called Ring walk.
Taking into account the ever-increasing demand from the population for green recreational areas, the municipal administration has thus decided to respond to the needs of the community by promoting the creation of a Ringpromenade or a circular walk around the city, already foreseen in the Plan of Green approved by the City Council in 2022.
After an in-depth preparatory phase carried out by the Environmental Technical and Green Design Service in 2023, the temporary design grouping Land srl of Milan e It comes in srl of Bolzano was commissioned to carry out the study of the possible routes of the Ringpromenade route.
Objective: connect existing walks and historic paths through some new routesto create a ring of approximately 30 km. The proposed route which will develop along the mountain slopes and urban areas of Bolzano, placing them at an altitude between 237 m and 490 m and accessible to a large catchment area, divides the circular route into 12 sections, which can also be traveled individually , each characterized by a theme that identifies each individual stage.
