Artesanías de Colombia announced the holding in Cali of the first Pacific Artisan Fair, which will take place from December 26 to 29, in the Parque de las Banderas, a space for the commercial offer of products made by 80 guest artisans from the departments of Cauca , Nariño, Chocó and Valle del Cauca.

The event will take place within the framework of the traditional Cali Fair, in alliance with the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation – AECID, and aims to support artisans in the Pacific region, with its completely free connection. allowing them to offer their products to Cali residents and tourists, who visit the capital of Valle del Cauca during those days.

Additionally, the meeting will strengthen the competitiveness of the artisan sector in large-scale events in the Pacific region, promote its inclusion and reactivate economies that were affected by global impacts such as the pandemic caused by Covid-19.

The 80 artisans summoned are invited at all costs by the organizing entities, which cover all their expenses for air and land transfers, accommodation and food.

Additionally, they provide them free of charge with the stand, with its respective setup at the commercial exhibition.

Fairgrounds

The fairground located in the square of the traditional Parque de las Banderas de Cali, will have 4 areas that will house the artisans from each of the departments summoned; It will also have a main stage, where the artistic agenda and the fashion catwalk will take place. The Fair will take place from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. Admission is free.
