Every week, this independent cinema screens at least two films for very young audiences. From 2 years old, children can discover arthouse films there who have the ambition to show them a universe visual not too formatted, even if Disney creations are also included. Every two months, a film story and a film concert are organized. Creative workshops complete the sessions. Wednesday December 27, the screening of the animated film Migrationwhich depicts the journey of a family of ducks to Jamaica, will be followed by a workshop on making a flip book and a magic lantern.

Ciné 104 also offers sessions called “Babies Welcome”, during which young parents can come with a toddler (up to 7 months), just to get their heads out of diapers. During these screenings, chattering and movement are obviously authorized.

In the absence of a trip to Egypt, you can always take your children to see a film in Luxor. Change of scenery guaranteed! With its neo-Egyptian style facade, its mosaics and its Art Deco lighting, the cinema in the Barbès district is unlike any other. Since the venue reopened in 2013, the team has wanted to attract young audiences to its three dark rooms. In addition to screenings scheduled for weekends or during holidays, the Luxor also organizes film concerts, with breakfast offered before the film. Seeing or rewatching the adventures of Charlie Chaplin or Laurel and Hardy to the sound of a piano, all in the large and majestic cinema, is a delightful experience for the whole family.

The temple of cinephilia and the history of the 7th art opens its doors wide to children with an eclectic and transgenerational program. The sessions called “My Little Cinematheque”, accessible from the age of 3, allow you to see classics for children like The Lady and the Tramp, but also films accessible to children like The Bicycle Thief or The Kid. Festive sessions with concerts or shows are also on the program. On Wednesday January 31 at 3 p.m., an actress playing Lila Lumière will perform nursery rhymes and games on the theme of friendly ghosts.
