The upcoming tour promises large-scale performances at prominent venues including the Coca-Cola Coliseum and Wintrust Arena in toronto, the O2 Arena in London, and a landmark date at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The artist experienced a prolific 2024, releasing both “EUSEXUA” in January and its companion album, “EUSEXUA Afterglow” in October.This creative surge was accompanied by a series of collaborations with artists like Oklou and PinkPantheress, demonstrating her continued versatility and influence within the music industry.
However, the path to this momentum wasn’t without obstacles. According to a statement shared on TikTok, the initial tour cancellations left FKA twigs feeling “devastated.” She also withdrew from a much-anticipated performance at Coachella, further compounding the difficulties. These challenges stemmed from logistical hurdles related to both visa procurement and the complexities of tour production.
Despite these setbacks, FKA twigs has seemingly overcome these obstacles. She headlined the LadyLand Festival in Brooklyn in June and hosted an intimate release party in Bushwick to celebrate “EUSEXUA Afterglow,” reconnecting with fans on a more personal level.
