The 7th meeting of the Interdepartmental Commission on Aviation Security of the Airport was held at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.
As Day.Az reports with reference to Heydar Aliyev International Airport, the event was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the State Civil Aviation Agency, as well as the leadership of law enforcement agencies and other entities in the aviation industry.
The main topic of discussion was strengthening security measures in civil aviation and ensuring maximum passenger safety. The meeting included a detailed discussion on the Training Plan, which included initial responses to acts of unlawful interference, optimization of security zones and assessment of potential threats. The importance of cooperation between relevant structures for the continuous development of aviation security was emphasized.
In addition, the participants discussed strengthening security measures during the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) in Baku. Additional measures to control passenger flow and effectively manage risks were discussed.
