Fattorda: The Kerala Blasters, who secured the semifinals in the Indian Super League (ISL 2021-22), will play their last league match today. The opponent is FC Goa. The match is at 7.30 pm. The Blasters, who have reached the last four for the first time since 2016, can play against Goa today without any pressure. A win in the final will not affect the Blasters. The Blasters finished fourth in the semifinals with 33 points.

Jamshedpur was first with 40 points, Hyderabad second with 38 points and ATK Mohan Bagan third with 37 points. Ninth-ranked Goa, who have lost their last three matches, are aiming for a consolation victory. In the first quarter, both teams were level on points, scoring two goals each. The Blasters’ suspension could give players a threat to rest as they secure a place in the semis.

Coach Ivan Vukomanovic says Kerala Blasters will be aiming for victory over Goa. Vukomanovic said the Blasters could overcome the lack of injured players. Alvaro Vasquez, Jorge Perere Diaz and Putia are on the verge of suspension against Goa. If they get a yellow card again, they will miss the next match. Ivan Vukomanovich thinks this is just part of the game.

Despite missing out on a place in the semi – finals after finishing ninth in the points table, Vukomanovic hopes that Goa will field the best team ever. Vukomanovic said the Blasters would be able to overcome the absence of the suspended Harmanjot Khabra and the injured Nishukumar and Jackson Singh.
