A resident of the north filed a complaint today (Saturday) at the Rosh Pina station against MK Dudi Amsalem on suspicion of threats. According to the complainant, Amsalem’s statements in which he said, among other things, that “Getz should be run over” and “leftists imprisoned” while adding blunt statements, are therefore threatening. Following the complaint, the police opened an investigation.
At the same time, MK Michal Rosin wrote a letter yesterday to the chairman of the ethics committee, Yurai Lahav-Herzno, demanding that the committee convene urgently in order to discuss Amsalem’s recent statements.
Among the things Amsalem said: “A crazy, Bolshevik, anti-Zionist gang has taken over the country. Prime Minister Netanyahu is the emissary of the saint. Blessed is he. “We will cut his salary. What is Amsalem planning for the current coalition? If I am the speaker of the Knesset, I will not let them enter the Knesset area.”
