This is the first Formula One car race in Saudi Arabia. Many people from different parts of the world came to Jeddah to watch the match. The match will last until five. Seven-time world champions Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are in contention. Jeddah Corniche is the second longest track after the Spa-Francore Champaign in Belgium. Cornish became the fastest track. The construction work was carried out in collaboration with 3,000 contractors from over 50 different companies.


The 6.175 km long track has 27 curves. Of these, 16 turn left and 11 turn right. There are seven galleries in the area. Separate buildings were set up for each team and their vehicle repairs.

The test run was designed to give drivers an introduction to the new track ahead of the qualifying race. Yesterday (Friday) at noon 20 drivers went down for the first training. There were two test runs of one hour each at 4.30 pm and 8 pm. Today (Saturday) at 5 pm is the last training run of an hour. The qualifying round match will be held at 8 pm. This will determine the position of each driver in the final. The final car race will be on Sunday evening.

The Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, in collaboration with the Formula One International Automobile Federation, has completed all preparations for the competition.
