Fortnitemares 2024: New Weapons and Loot
The Fortnite Halloween party always brings spooky flair, and this year is no exception. Alongside beloved items, several new weapons are entering the loot pool, adding to the game’s intensity. Here’s a look at all the Fortnitemares loot you can expect to find during the event:
- Wood Stake Shotgun
- Pumpkin Launcher
- Witch Broom
- Boom Billy
- Chainsaw
Fortnitemares veterans will recognize the first three weapons, but the last two are making their debut. The Boom Billy weapon sends a creepy Billy The Puppet, from *Saw*, tricycling toward opponents before exploding. If you hear his twisted laugh, it’s best to run.
Additionally, the chainsaw makes its entrance, featuring both offensive and traversal capabilities. Players can charge at enemies or rev it into the ground to propel themselves forward, potentially joining the ranks of cool traversal items like the Shockwave Hammer, Kinetic Blade, and Spider-Man’s Web Slingers.
While not exactly a loot item, a new on-island event will take place during Fortnitemares. Players can interact with a Billy The Puppet TV scattered across the map, which assigns them a target to eliminate from among other players who have opted into the challenge.
Both participants will don bear masks reminiscent of *Saw*. If neither player or squad successfully eliminates their target before the timer expires, they will both face an explosive end. Victors of this eerie showdown will receive a Boom Billy and a Witch Broom, among other randomized loot.
