Investigators are asking the court to arrest those accused of attacking two men with a child in Novye Vatutinki. Four participants in the attack are charged with attempted murder. The incident became known on November 5.
According to the investigation, in the evening several people attacked two men, one of whom was carrying a child, and beat them. The defendants in the case were charged on the basis of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 30, pp. “A, c, g” part 2 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“attempted murder committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy against two or more persons, including a minor”). The accused are between 17 and 19 years old.
“By their actions, the defendants have created a threat to the life and health of a young child,” says the Office of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow. Today, the investigation is petitioning the Shcherbinsky City Court to elect all the defendants in the criminal case as a preventive measure in the form of detention.
The four attackers were formally employed as laborers. The head of the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow, Vladimir Vesenin, said that three of them received Russian citizenship more than nine years ago. One of the attackers came from Azerbaijan. They deny attempted murder charges.
