The idea is to accentuate even more the regional shift of France 3. From September 2023, the midday news (12-1 p.m.) and the late afternoon news (19- 8 p.m.), will be entirely designed and presented by the 24 regional branches of the France 3 network. This will therefore be the end of the national news programs embodied by Carole Gaessler and Émilie Tran Nguyen. The regional newsrooms of France 3 will produce the local subjects and will draw the national and international subjects from a common pot of the unified national newsroom of France Télévisions.
