French double in the 100m medley, Charlotte Bonnet triumphs ahead of Béryl Gastaldello

Signing a new personal best, Charlotte Bonnet won her first international medal in short course since 2017, this Thursday in Romania.

The Blues signed a double in the 100m medley final of the European Short Course Swimming Championships, Charlotte Bonnet winning ahead of Béryl Gastaldello on Thursday in Otopeni (Romania).

Bonnet won the race in 57 sec 47, setting a new personal best. She was two tenths ahead of Béryl Gastaldello, who had already won silver in the 50m freestyle the day before.

The Swede Louise Hansson completes the podium.

Bonnet had not won an international short course medal since 2017.
