In addition, he considers that “he will be studied as someone who brings a new perspective”. Álvaro has chosen for the occasion a fragment of the work ‘Vintage memory’.

The person in charge of the Alibri Bookstore’s cultural agenda, Sandra Martí, has highlighted that Vicenç Pagès “was a key figure in the world of Catalan letters”. Precisely for this reason justifies the importance behind this one tribute to his memory. “He was a writer who played and researched a lot, touched many branches”, he added.

The writer Eduard Márquez took advantage of his intervention to talk about the most personal aspect of Pagès. Márquez recalled the conversations they had and in which I not only learned a lot by reading him, “but also by conversing with him”. “This is very exceptional among writers and when you’ve lost it, it’s very sad”, he lamented.
